hazel is the leader of the little group, though he is not the toughest.He is very protective of his runt brother, fiver.

looks ugly in the film,(the Author of the book agrees, he says so in the front of the watership down film picture book!) but helps the warren. telling when danger comes. sometimes he is a bit "me me me!" 
bigwig
who this site is dedicated to. he used to be a member of the owlsla in the thearah's warren, but left to join hazel and the others.
later on, it was easy to see that the run into efra would not have worked without bigwig. he went in, and , fought woundwort amazingly near the end!

the lightning fast storyteller. tells stories of el-arirh (sorry, I can't spell it!) thoughout the book, and is the fastest.

the clever one. realises that the wood on the stream floats, and the efera plan would not of worked without him, having the boat Idea. (looking demented or scared in this picture.)
